THE FOUNDERS

China-Expert was founded by:

* Colin Friedman, MSc. CEnv. MIAgrE

* Tan Bai He, B.A. International Trade

Colin Friedman- Managing Director

Colin has lived in Taiyuan (Shanxi Province), in Shenyang (Liaoning Province), Kurle (Xinjiang Autonomous Region) and now lives in Beijing. He is a multi-lingual English born Chartered Environmentalist (MSc. Ag. Eng - Irrigation) and has been active in the China Market since 1998 in engineering, marketing and sales roles. During this time he has built a factory in the North-West of China, he has been the G.M. of a Joint Venture factory and has established two new divisions for an international company All of these required good managerial skills, good people skills and a well-honed ability to establish an excellent rapport with local government officials. In addition to English mother tongue, he speaks fluent Hebrew, intermediate level Mandarin Chinese, and some French and Spanish.

Tan Bai He - Marketing and Sourcing Manager

Tan bai He (Rose) speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Sichuanese. She has lived in ChongQing, Canton and Xinjiang. She now lives in Beijing where she heads the Marketing and Sourcing Departments. Her International Trade background combined with her natural skills have benefited many clients in their search to match their prerequisite technical specifications with the supplier's manufacturing ability. Her success ratio is very impressive.
